Beastmaster and /BST Leveling
Find a pet you can charm, a target you can handle and another pet nearby as a backup. If you're using /BST, your trained BST level affects Charm, while the smaller displayed support level decides when you get Gauge, Reward and Leave. Call Beast is not available with /BST.

Beastmen Pet Leveling
Look for the beastman owner, then pull its low-HP pet without bringing the owner with it.
